glbt life, food, photography
2009
This site is dedicated to GLBT immigration issues, food, and photo projects.
There are two blogs on this site, focused on very different projects. The first will document my experiences as one half of a binational gay couple. My girlfriend is Irish and I’m American, and we’re in the midst of a three-year struggle to be in the same place.
One of the issues I’m dealing with now is feeling split between two homes, near my family and friends in New York, and my partner in Dublin. If we manage to find anywhere in the world where we can live and work together, we’ll probably be far away from our points of origin.
To stay close to my mom and my roots, I’ve also set up a second blog: “food from a jewish mother,” devoted to family recipes, little cooking tips my mom wants to offer the world, and restaurant reviews.
Stay tuned, we’re constantly updating and developing. This is just the beginning.
